About
establishing a special traffic regime in Tbilisi
The planned
changes involve banning the movement of M3, N2 and N3 vehicles between the
hours of 08:00 - 11:00 and 17:00 - 20:00.
It is important that the regulation is adopted
in such a way as to avoid negative effects
Any
decision that has a positive impact on the elimination of traffic jams in the
capital area is welcome, but the decisions should not harm business entities,
their employees and every citizen/consumer.
The
11:00 – 17:00 time slot will make it physically impossible for the continuity
of the product supply chain and the possibility of full delivery.
The
supply of fresh products, dairy products and bread, which are delivered in the
morning hours, will be particularly negatively affected, and consumers will be
deprived of the opportunity to purchase fresh products.

Association, and Sophio Kashakashvili, Executive Director of the Retail
